We're very excited to announce an incredible impromptu event we're holding on this very special Canada Day.
We had our first ever 'Dinosaur Hunting with Bill Bloss' earlier this month, and it was such a huge hit that we had a request to do it again, but with the kids. We thought, why not celebrate Canada 150 with one of the most Canadian things you can do - hike the badlands looking for fossils! If you'd like in, bring the kids or the grandkids. Here's the plan:
We're meeting in Drumheller at 1 pm on July 1. (May I suggest heading to town sooner and catching the pancake breakfast and the parade? Pancakes are from 7-10 am at Riverside Drug Mart, the parade starts at 10 am and goes down Riverside Drive.)
We'll spend the afternoon fossil hunting with Bill Bloss, a local fossil enthusiast who will take us out to the best fossil site in the area, teach us what to look for, help identify any fossil finds, and share stories of his past adventures.
Dinner back at the Inn is provided, and after some well deserved R&R we'll have a big campfire with S'Mores (We might even be able to see some fireworks!)
Sleep well after such a busy day, breakfast the next day is included.
This promises to be a once in a lifetime Canada 150 Celebration! The price is $240 per person and includes all meals, your stay at the Inn, and all activities. We only have 6 rooms left - first come first serve until we're full! Call me to book: 1 866 677 2211. Feel free to pass the invite on to any future palaeontologists you know. And a Happy Canada 150!
